About Us
We are mothers, sisters, daughters, cousins, aunts, and nieces. We are full-time working women, stay-at-home moms, recently retired, and college students. We are the women making a difference in the Greater Rochester Area.
The Rochester Junior Women’s Club (RJWC) was founded in 1956. We are a lively and intelligent group of women whose mission statement calls us to promote education, strive to preserve natural resources, work to benefit older adults and support the arts in our community.
Since our inception, the Rochester Junior Woman’s Club has donated more than 1 million hours of community service and raised more than $920,000 to support our local community.
Historically, our members were instrumental in founding many pieces of the Rochester Community and helped it develop into what it is today.
Our Mission
The mission of the Rochester Junior Women’s Club (RJWC) is to promote opportunities for women to connect with and support each other while improving our community through volunteer service.
Our Vision
To be the leading organization in our community that promotes education, preserves natural resources, benefits the elderly, and supports the arts.
